Designed to be a direct replacement for the crossover box that shipped with your original M3 and M6 speakers. The wiring on the M4 needs to be changed to accommodate the new 2.5-way design for a significant improvement.

What you can expect from any of the upgrades offered - Improved soundstage, more precise imaging, more open/holographic presentation. Better clarity and detail across the entire frequency spectrum and deeper bass extension.

X Series

X4 crossover for models produced before 2023. X5 upgrade made possible with the participation of X5 owner, George F. (thank you!) There are no current plans to offer an upgraded crossover to the X3 speakers. If you have a set of these and are willing to send them in for testing we would gladly offer you our opinion on potential improvement.

“… Overall, instruments had increased presence in the sound-stage, better recovery of low level

notes (some I never heard before), and quicker transients. Combined, these changes brought

the music (classical, rock, jazz) another step closer to reality. Baffle-less speakers like the

upgraded X5s sound fantastic with excellent source, amplification, cabling, and vibration control

components. (The original X5s sounded very good but the upgraded X5s sound better in my
