S4 Speaker
The S4 is our latest offering and is a tribute to the legacy M4, one of Clayton’s most popular designs. This is the big brother to the S6 and is our most versatile speaker in the S series lineup. This speaker will work well in just about any room. The S4 features our new "Linear Drive" design topology that allows for high order crossover slopes while also reducing the number of components in the signal path. The new S-series tweeter is wide dispersion and plays down to a remarkably low 800Hz minimizing directivity errors and maintains consistent output both on and off axis. The result is a seamless coherent soundstage presentation. The sound qualities emphasized are detail, imaging, and depth of soundstage. Build quality is consistent with the other speakers in our lineup including a solid aluminum base, hand-built baffles and crossovers manufactured in the USA.
